Hyderabad Metro Rail Extension towards Patancheru from the existing Miyapur Hub not only brings good money for the HMRL but also will help around 20 Lakhs people who commute to Hitech city and other parts of the city from Patancheru.
Patancheru connectivity favors the people from locations like Beeramguda, where 60% of the population purchased the independent houses at an affordable price who would surely travel to the internal parts of the city like Ameerpet, Lakdikapool and hi-tech city will surely need a Metro Rail to commute from the location which is 25+ km far away from the centre of the city.
Meanwhile, the extension from Miyapur to Patancheru not only favors the Beeramguda public but also the people who stay away from Patancheru as well as Kandi, Sangareddy and so on.
Though after BHEL, that is from RC Puram, the district may come under Sangareddy, there have been a number of upper-middle and middle-class people who work in various software, technical and engineering fields who regularly commute from Chandanagar, Madinaguda, Beeramguda, Ashoknagar, RC Puram and Patancheru.
It was believed from some news articles and other press releases that the main extension would be paused and the metro rail extension from Patancheru to Lakdikapool would come into action connecting Gachibowli.
Either way the public would feel really comfortable if this move is initiated. The public who resides in these locations are eagerly waiting for this move to take place.
There is a website called change.org from which already 3536 people had signed up supporting the cause to start the second phase metro rail extension towards Patancheru.
Govt in partnership with HMRL should take necessary plans and measures in implementing the same and should implement this as quickly as possible.
The 25 Km stretch would surely bring comfort and easiness in commute to lakhs of Hyderabad people who commute daily during their busy work hours.
