State Home Minister Mahmood Ali said today that Telangana only employs a large number of police personnel. He said friendly policing and effective law and order are behind the decline in the crime rate in the state.

Stating that effective coordination and emergency services are part of good policing, he said the state is providing better protection to its people and maintaining peace in the state. He made these remarks after launching a training program for a new group of 267 constables. The event was held in the city’s CAR headquarters in Petlaburg.

The Home Minister said that Telangana is also offering good salaries to police constables. After nine months of training, the constables will be on duty and the trainee constables will get a good salary in their training program. To function effectively, the state’s chief minister KCR to provide friendly service.

Chandrasekhar Rao, he urged them to work to achieve that vision. He said the effective work of Shea Teams in the state has helped to reduce women’s eve-teasing. Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar also spoke on the occasion. He suggested that the training police should adopt a timescale for better service.

Earlier, CP Hyderabad Anjani Kumar and other top officials of the Police Department welcomed the Home Minister. The training program for 16,000 police constables and SIs was launched across Telangana state today. Constables will be given a stipend of Rs. 9000 – and for SI is Rs.11,000.
