In what seems to be a case of cold full-blood murder, Royyala Saiprasad, 22, has been in police custody for the stabbing death of Peerlagudem Shiresha at Pragati Resorts in Shankarpally on a weekday night. Shiresha had over twelve wounds on different parts of her body, probably inflicted with a folding knife, resulting in her death.

Saiprasad additionally received injuries as Shiresha tried to fight him off, and passed out from loss of blood. He gained consciousness once his sister gave a call to him to understand his whereabouts, explained to her how he had killed his lover, and fled from the spot. Saiprasad’s sister alerted the workers at Pragati Resort, who found Shiresha in an exceedingly pool of blood and alerted the police. Saiprasad was arrested nearby Balaji temple on Friday, supported proof from the scene of crime and inputs from resort workers, Shamshabad DCP P.V. Padmaja aforesaid.
Shiresha and Saiprasad, each from Kothur, became friends as Intermediate students and commenced dating.

Having completed her degree course, Shiresha was making ready for banking entrance exams and attending a private work institute in Dilsukhnagar. Every day, she left for the institute at 10.30 a.m. and was presupposed to come by 5.30 p.m.

Meanwhile, when her family came to understand regarding Saiprasad, Shiresha began avoiding him, although they generally met secretly. On a weekday, he planned they meet to planned out their issues. Having met at Shamshabad, they traveled to Mehdipatnam, from where they took a bus or cab to Pragati Resort.

At the resort, throughout their discussion regarding the wedding, Saiprasad allegedly grew angry and injured Shiresha with a folding knife.

This incident prevailed tension among the parents and also the girls who are pursuing BTech and also most of the families who have got teenage girls at home. This kind of incidents should not prevail in the coming days and strict action must be taken.
