Erbil- Security forces say a Bengali civilian who hails from India was killed in Tuesday’s bomb blast in central Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan’s capital.
“A hidden explosive charge inside the container went to the garbage dump in central Erbil, killing one person,” the source told the Baghdad Today website.
“The victim was identified as a Bengal citizen from India,” the source said.
The UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), in December 2018, killed 32 Iraqi civilians and wounded another 32 in the wake of terrorism and conflict-related violence.
Nineveh killed 26 civilians (07 killed, 19 wounded) followed by Baghdad (17 killed and 03 wounded) and Salahuddin (03 killed and 03 wounded).
