Andhra Pradesh Assembly passes GST Bill

The state Assembly sanctioned the goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill, in connection with the league of States that have already approved the legislation which will pave the right way for roll-out of one and unified taxation system within the country, on Tuesday.

The Bill was legal amidst resentful scenes because the lone opposition YSR Congress Party resorted to slogan shouting demanding discussion on the chili pepper farmers’ issue. The Opposition party didn’t participate within the discussion in respect to the Bill.

Introducing the AP State goods and Services Bill 2017, minister of finance Yanamala Ramakrishnudu aforesaid the planned legislation, introduced on the directions of the GST Council that circulated a draft of the State GST, would confer powers on the regime to levy goods and services tax on the provision of products and services or each that occurinside the State.

Subsequently, the AP legislative council conjointly passed within the bill. Earlier this month, the Goa, Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh assemblies conjointly passed the GST Bill, 2017. In April, Telangana , a newly partitioned state also passed the bill in a very special session continued sixteen april, which was a Sunday.

Similarly, the Maharashtra legislative assembly will hold a session on 20-22 may to debate and validate the Goods and Service Tax Bill, 2017, to pave the method for the national roll-out of GST on 1st of july.

Hopefully there would be a great impact with these bill in the states, there could be a standard rate for most of the consumables like petrol, diesel and also any good which would be transported from other states.
