Metro Cash & Carry India, a number one organized Wholesale store, opened an additional wholesale warehouse in Hyderabad, its fourth within the town and twenty-fourth within the country.
The new outlet is seen to bolster Metro’s business by augmenting the present base of nearly 2 lakh business customers.
“Hyderabad may be a special marketplace for us. We’ve witnessed quick growth in the wholesale market since 2006, and there’s still lots of chance for growth and expansion of the warehouse. The store is spread over just about 55,000 sq feet, and can facilitate to produce over 350 jobs for the native economy.

Metro india caters to over eleven lakh dedicated customers across the country, that embrace little and mid-sized kiranas, hotels, restaurants, caterers and self-employed professionals.
Offerings at the new Hyderabad outlet embrace over fifty one varieties in rice, twenty two in pulses, and a goodrange of ayurvedic products like Patanjali, and Sri Sri Aurveda.

The new outlet captures Metro’s promise of everything beneath one roof. The outlet expects to supply a minimum oftwenty per cent of its assortment from regional suppliers.
Fruits and vegetables are going to be sourced from Metro’s collection centre at Vontimamidi in Telangana.Metro had started its Hyderabad first branch in 2006 with its 1st outlet at Kukkatpally, followed by Uppal and Shamshabad within the consequent years.This will be the 4th and biggest outlet in Hyderabad and hopefully, it will have plenty of fresh stock every month.
