Hyderabad Traffic police Distributes Free Helmets in City

Hyderabad: Traffic police in Hyderabad are here with a new initiative now, cops are distributing helmets to the 2 wheeler drivers free of cost.

The initiative was taken by the HTP (Hyderabad Traffic Police) so as to spread the awareness about wearing helmets and also importance of helmets while meeting with an accidents. It was recorded as there were 50% of the fatal deaths happened in the city due to not wearing helmets.

“Helmet for Life” a campaign had been launched by the city traffic cops and which gaining good momentum among the local public, suzuki motors had taken this initiative and distributed over 12000 helmets in the city through police department and also gave 13 new bikes to the city police.

Police had arranged the spots like PCR Rotary Basheerbagh, Madeena junction, VV Statue Khairatabad, Panjagutta, YMCA X Road and so on.

Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic), Anil Kumar had taken good steps in promoting the campaign so as to educate the bike riders in Hyderabad.
