200 Kgs of Ganja Siezed by Warangal Police

The Hanmakonda (City in Warangal) police had seized 200 kgs of processed ganja which is worth around 11.5 lakhs and also seized a car Tata Indica Vista with fake number plate near naimnagar in the Warangal city on Monday.

The suspect Subhash Chauhan of Jalgaon district of Maharashtra is in connection with the case and 2 others were also accompanied him were Ganesh and Charan. They managed to give a slip to police but they were caught and arrested on the spot.

In the press conference with the media, Police Commissioner Mr. G. Sudheer Babu said that the police led by Mr. G Ashok Sub-Inspector of Police arrested the accused during the routine vehicle checks at naimnagar pedda mori area in the Hanmakonda city after identifying the Ganja in the car.

Later it was known from the accused that the ganja was purchased from paderu, Visakhapatnam and they wanted to export this to Maharashtra.
